Jo Boaler is a mathematics education researcher whom I admire very much. She addresses the malaise plaguing society regarding achievement in mathematics — much of which is actually within our control to change. Research show:-
* all students can learn mathematics
* there is no such thing as “math wall”
* mistakes grow your brain
* pressure blocks working memory
* achieve automaticity with flexible strategies
* visual learning
